Our aim is to make people feel as if their holiday has been special.

Doug and Margaret always intended to live in Broome (Doug’s heritage) on retirement but were concerned that after years of teaching they would miss the “people” contact.

A B&B seemed a good way of utilising their skills. Doug was passionate about Broome and it’s multicultural history whilst Margaret enjoyed home decorating/design and gardening and so “Reflections” was born.

The name was a play on words. The reflection from the riding lights of boats at low tide was spectacular and the property presentation was chosen to “reflect” the influence of the Asian population so instrumental in Broome’s early years.

We no longer do Whole House short term stays and are enjoying living back in our home, personally interacting with our guests.

Winning “Silver” at the 2012 WA Tourism Awards was an exciting milestone to be added to the shock “Silver” at the National Accommodation Awards in Sydney 2011.

The B&B has proven to be a great decision and we have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people who have left us with lasting memories.
